Prior to joining the Board of Directors for Tatanka Luta, Eric apprenticed and worked as a carpenter and craftsman and went on to start his own business learning the values and skills to be able to provide beautiful shelters. He is currently employed with the City of Madison in the Office of Business Resources working with food vendors and local business. He has worked with people with disabilities and mental illness, continues to volunteer, and is proud to have taught environmental art and photography to children. He spent more than two years fostering a housing cooperative which recently created affordably housing for youth without housing. He has completed many courses in communication and leadership teaching him the value of listening and fostering leadership.
Eric is happily married to his better half Amy of 14 years, residing in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.
